The time I am most happiest to be a photographer is when I get to take photos of the important parts of my families lives. I feel very included into everyone's lives because I get to be there for all the big milestones and achievements. One of the biggest and best of them all is my brother and sister in law and their dearly awaited baby. We flew to Nelson last winter where they live for a little stay and while we were there we did a shoot at the beach and I loved every second of it. Calita braved the cold winter chills and it was so worth freezing for. One of my most favourite photo sessions to this day and I will forever remember being a part of their new journey!
